Minnie Cooper kör inte en Mini Cooper. Hon har en vit Polo och den svänger in till besökarområdet bakom en Mondeo och framför en Yaris. Det finns fyra personer i Mondeon och två i Yarisen. När hon kör in i en plats är hon glad att se flera grupper av personer som lunkar omkring nära fordon, antagligen väntar dem på att receptionen ska öppna. Det är inte riktigt en byggnad, det är en portabel sak, som BajaMaja saker som de har på musikfestivaler, och den står på en förstoring av asfalten utanför fängelsegrinden. Ramper på båda sidorna leder upp till de stängda dörrarna. IN är stencilerat in på räcket vid den närmsta rampen, ut på räcket vid den andra. Två fängelsearbetare lutar på båda sidorna av IN skylten och röker. Ingen av de kollar på parkeringsplatsen, som håller på att fyllas.

För att besöka någon i fängelse behöver man en besökningsorder. Minnie Cooper har inte en sådan, för hon känner ingen som sitter i fängelse. Hon känner ett par som borde göra det, men det är oviktigt. Hon vet att hon inte kan komma in, men det spelar ingen roll, för hon behöver inte det. En eller båda av Gavin Wards föräldrar måste bara komma. Hon vet hur de ser ut, hon hade gott om tid att kolla in dem i rätten. Hon hoppas att de kommer idag, för det är den sjätte dagen på en vecka som hon kommer och kollar. Det är är ett topp-säkerhets fängelse, någon kommer säkert märka henne och utfråga henne. Fem minuter innan receptionen ska öppna driver folk bort mot rampen och bildar en kö. Minnie kollar från förarsätet men ser ingen hon känner igen. Hon har praktiskt taget accepterat att hon måste riskera ett sjunde försök när en gammal röd Polo kör förbi och parkerar i en plats nära henne. Förarens dörr öppnas och Anna Ward kommer ut, och har på sig jackan hon hade på sig under rättegången. Hon ser äldre ut.

Break up letter

Dear Ryanne,

I’m sorry that I have to tell you this in a text message, but after everything we’ve been through I don’t think I can say this to your face. There is no easy way to tell you this so I’ll just say it: I’m breaking up with you. We have had some great times together, and I’m sure that when I look back at them I will remember them fondly and feel like they were some of the best days of my life. The reason that I am breaking up with you is that I am moving to Chicago to go to college. I don’t want a long distance relationship because it will be very hard on both of us and would probably cause a lot of problems and drama. I wish you love and happiness in the future, and hope that you can find love somewhere else.

My prao experience

I worked at Coop Konsum for my PRAO. It wasn’t very fun, because I mostly just fronted and filled the shelves. I didn’t learn thing like you normally do in school, but I did learn a lot of things. I learned how it is to work, how to do things and what is expected of you. I also learned which coworkers to avoid and that kind of stuff. Some were really nice and helpful, and I could acually talk with them and have fun while doing my job, but some of them were really grumpy, and didn’t seem to like having a student doing their job, because they always checked everything I did and they would tell me to do it again, even if I did it correctly, just not the same way as they would have done it. 

I liked working there because the work was boring but I could just do it while thinking about anything which I can’t do when I’m in school, because then I have to pay attention. I also liked that I could take a break whenever I wanted, so when I was tired or something I could just take a break. Another good thing was that I worked from 09:00 to 15:00, which is shorter than a school day. 

I can see myself doing it in the future if I need a summer job or just a short time job when I’m out of school. Like a lot of my coworkers said, I could also end up there if I skipped school or didn’t try my best in school.

I can't live without my computer

I can’t live without my computer, because I use it all the time. I don’t like watching TV because the shows on there are often terrible. Therefore I like to play games on my computer to have fun, and really the only fun I have at home is on my computer. I also need it to stay in contact with friends when I’m not at school. The reason I need it to stay in contact with friends is that my mobile phone is really bad so I don’t use it, so then there is only things like Skype and Facebook to talk to eachother. I also need it for things like checking up facts and doing things that I need for school. I think the last reason I can’t live without it is that it is great for browsing the internet. The internet is great in that you can find almost anything on there (games, movies, forums, pictures, almost anything.).

Friendship

A friend is someone who you can trust. It is someone who you enjoy being around, and someone who will help you out if you’re in trouble. Usually you and your friend enjoy the same things, but sometimes friends don’t enjoy the same things. Friends are also nice to each other. 

Lockie Diary 1

Dear diary, today I discovered that I am a really bad and selfish person. I was going to help Egg, but then i let him down. I was going to kiss Dot, but then i let her down. I promised to do alot of stuff, but put my own comfort and wellbeing before them. I feel really terrible for doing so. I think that Egg and Dot, and all the other people are really dissapointed and sad because they think that I don’t care about them and don’t care about what I promised to do for them. I am going to apologize to them and explain that I didn’t want to do what I did and that i am I’m just too selfish, I don’t mean to be selfish. I don’t know what more there is to say. I just feel really horrible for everything I did. 

Futurum

Futurum är tidsformen som berättar om vad som ska hända, eller framtid.

Man sätter ofta be going to när man gör futurum, om det är någonting ska man tänker eller planerar ska hända. Ex: We are going to have a party on friday.

Man kan också använda Will. Det berättar att någonting ska hända. Ex: I’ll never forget the day i met her. Man kan också säga Will not, eller Won’t. 

Shall används vid frågot med I och we.

I drew a picture of the headmaster when Dinah threw pepper at him. The picture doesn’t look very good because I’m not very good with paintbrush and I made it when i was in a hurry. You can see his big green eyes and Dinah sitting in her booth, with the pepper thing in her hands.

I drew a picture of The Hidden One. He is walking by the shore of the lake, like he was when Little Scarface saw him. You can see that he has the rainbow over his shoulder, and his bowstring is supposed to look like a galaxy, but i made it more stretched out, because it didn't really fit when it was round.
